This private integration connects DNS managed by Vercel to Periscope development environments.

1. Open Periscope dev Publishing and choose a hosting environment.
2. In Domain setup, choose Vercel and sign in on Vercel's own website.
3. Approve access, select a domain from your account and enter an unused subdomain.
4. Publish to the configured hosting provider. Periscope shows the exact DNS additions.
5. Approve those additions. Periscope preserves existing DNS records, refuses conflicts and verifies authoritative DNS, hosting and HTTPS independently.

The integration does not require the customer to copy an API token. A provider may require MFA. Authorization stays in Periscope server memory for at most 20 minutes; expired sessions require sign-in again. Disconnecting in Periscope discards the in-memory authorization. Revoke the integration in Vercel to remove the provider-side authorization. Unpublishing and DNS cleanup are separate actions; existing DNS is not automatically deleted.
